LIPID MAPS has contributed a set of 10 pathways to the WikiPathways project. Pathways include metabolism of
Lipid-related pathways, or portions of pathways are displayed in tabular format with lipid structures and related information organized in columns. Pathways may also be viewed in an enzymatic reaction format, where substrate and product are displayed in separate rows, with an intervening row showing the gene information for the enzyme catalyzing that step.
SphinGOMAP© is a web-based biosynthetic pathway map of sphingolipids and glycosphingolipids developed during the 2003-2013 grant period by the LIPID MAPS Consortium's Sphingolipid Core Lab, directed by professor Al Merrill.
SphinGOMAP© includes over four hundred mammalian sphingolipids and glycosphingolipids arranged according to their biosynthetic steps, or in the cases where all of the intermediates have not yet been identified, via hypothesized intermediates. If you notice any errors or pathways that need updating, please contact dcotter@ucsd.edu.
