Using Abbreviation

Abbreviation format:
  • MG(Sn1AcylGroup/0:0/0:0)
  • DG(Sn1AcylGroup/Sn2AcylGroup/0:0)
  • TG(Sn1AcylGroup/Sn2AcylGroup/Sn3AcylGroup)

Valid abbreviations for acyl groups at sn1, sn2 and sn3 positions are shown in the pulldowns above. Select yes from allow arbitrary chain abbreviation list to permit usage of all valid chain abbreviations.

Abbreviation examples:
  • MG(14:0/0:0/0:0)
  • DG(14:0/18:1(9Z)/0:0)
  • DG(18:0(10Me[R])/18:1(9Z)/0:0)
  • TG(14:0/18:1(9Z)/20:4(5Z,8Z,10E,14Z))
